Can there be a more bizarre intersection of interests that found at this upcoming TNR Panel on Saudi Arabia? It's being moderated by Marty Peretz and sponsored by... the Saudi Embassy.
I don't like to generalize about groups of people, especially about fellow Jews, since there are plenty of other people who are more than happy to do so (for not so nice reasons of course). But after periodically being subjected to constant reminders of just how second rate America and Americans are by Israelis, I don't feel too bad about saying this: sometimes, you Israelis need to take a dose of STFU.
Exhibit 1: Yes, lets put your only true ally in an even more difficult spot than it already is for, well, no apparent gain. And blabbing to Haaretz, no less, as if they're not going to broadcast those sentiments to the world to embarass the current government. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.
Exhibit 2: If you're going to level a claim that the UN allowing Palestinians to transport Qassam rockets in ambulances, you'd better come up with better proof than grainy video from an unmanned drone. Granted, it's not like the Palestinians haven't used ambulances to transport weapons before, but the Palestinians are the darlings of the world right now, so any accusation is going to have be backed up with hard evidence. So next time, before opening your mouth, make sure you have undeniable proof.

I've learned from my persual of various blogs that I've lost my place on the blogrolls of 3 bloggers. All three bloggers are Jewish women. Coincidence? Who knows.
What we have here is just one more reason why Concordia University should rename itself Gaza U on the St. Lawrence. Memo to the left: you can't blame John Ashcroft for this one.
